The Board’s primary duties include the hiring and evaluation of the Director of Education and the Director of Finance and Administration, the setting of the school’s mission, institutional polices, strategic planning, fundraising, accreditation, marketing and advertising, and assessment of the school’s effectiveness in manifesting the mission of Walbridge School.

Christina Kantor, Member, a Walbridge parent, brings non-profit development and grant-writing expertise to the board. She has a Masters Degree in Public Health, and consults for non-profits that work with under-served and marginalized populations. She also works hard to figure out, support and help her gifted but dyslexic son. Robert “Rob” Schuettpelz, Chair, is a certified public accountant (CPA). Robert, a Walbridge parent, has extensive experience working with non-profit education organizations, and has 23 years of public accounting experience. Rob is actively involved with the Friends of Chernobyl Centers, U.S. (FOCCUS) that work to strengthen recovery efforts of individuals and communities in Ukraine that have been severely affected by the Chernobyl nuclear accident.
Thomas “Tom” Vercauteren, Member, is an attorney with the law firm Hurley, Burish and Stanton, S.C. Tom focuses his practice on estate planning, nonprofit law, and general business and real estate law. Tom graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2009, cum laude. Having recently returned to the Madison area with his wife and daughter, Tom is excited about the opportunity to become more involved in the community. Tyler Lynch, Member, is a commercial real estate broker at Oakbrook Corporation. He graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in finance. After graduating, Tyler returned to Madison to work in real estate and become more involved in the community. Tyler is an avid golfer and reader.
